Defining Greatness

Caffeinated Thought of the Week:

Who comes to mind when I mention G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time)? I’m guessing your mind drifts to sports maybe Tom Brady, Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky. These guys are considered great because they climbed to the ladder in their sport and won multiple championships breaking many records along the way. What if there was a different definition of being great. Jesus claims to be greatest you must be a servant. Man, this is upside down thinking.

3 Tips to becoming Great:

• Serve - Just go out and do! Whether big or small put your yes on the table.
• Put others before yourself.
• Look for ways to be generous with your time, talents and treasure.

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Matthew 20: 26-28
