Learn from Failure

Caffeinated Thought of the Week:

In this interview, Ed Sheeran mentioned that at age 14, he felt he didn’t have talent. He even showed a YouTube video of himself performing a song called “Addicted,” which wasn’t great. Fast forward to age 18, and he released his first hit, “A Team.” Reflecting on his journey, Sheeran says, “Success happens when you’ve failed hundreds of times.”

The hardest part for me in hearing that is the fact that I don’t like looking like the person who messed up. I try to remind myself: if you’re not failing, you’re not growing.
